Siv's Domain

History

After the creation of the humans, the wolf spirit, Siv, came to the land he was given. He was a bit spiteful due to the unforgiving nature of the land, but soon after he began training his humans to survive the harsh natures, teaching them about how only the strong survive. Historically, there's always been a lot of death in this domain, due to the unforgiving winters, the mostly empty harvests, and the hard hunts, leading to a really small community, but an incredibly tight-knit and impressively strong group of warriors, with a small sort of sub-country forming, as Siv's Raiders, a group of sailors who usually tend to raid the other domains for supplies and to survive.

Geography

The location of this northern domain makes it a rather cold place to live in, with lots of hills and wavy rocky landscapes, with a few rivers running through the continent. There's only a few villages in the domain, with how little of it is inhabitable by the humans. It often snows, with the forests and rocky hills getting white with snow. There's even a few lakes that are completely frozen over for most of the year.

Culture

The inhabitants of this Domain are often very rash and stubborn in nature, but have an incredible ability for teamwork, with homes being built in just a few days, hunting parties being incredibly efficient, and warrior groups are the deadliest of all of Aerith, coordinated like no other, almost on instinct. For better or for worse, they're known and feared as the invaders from the Great Raid, most domains shunning them, with the inhabitants disliking almost everyone else back. Naturally, not everyone from the domain is the same, and it isn't uncommon to see exiles when they don't fit in with everyone. While normally hard to come by, their food is traditionally very simple, just any kind of hunted meat along with very simple and resilient plants, like potatoes. The people here, while they could live longer, often don't get to see their 50s, dying in battle well before it. Their clothes almost always consist of some sort of armor, be it leather or sometimes chainmail and some of the stronger warriors falling in one of two categories. Forgoing armor, trusting in Siv's protection and their destiny for greatness, and others who use more advanced armor, akin to plate. The blacksmiths here, while incredibly skilled and revered for their work, are often frowned upon for their unorthodox methods for making weapons, due to the cruel nature of them, with whips with metal shards in them, spears with talons on them to easily rip through flesh after retrieving it after a stab, armor with spikes on it for possible impaling of anyone who gets too close, among others. Their art is rather undeveloped, with just some songs and mostly small metal totem-like items that they wear and keep with them for good luck. Their music consists mostly of choir chanting, akin to war-cries, with large drums pounding in a constant rhythm, almost like a song for using oars on ships.

Politics

They are rather simple in terms of politics, with Siv doing almost everything. With as tight-knit as a community as they have, the decisions are almost always unanimous, with very little resistance from others. Still, one of their most well known

The weak die as the strong thrive.

Brink of War

After the Great Raid, the relationships in between the two domains were abysmal, with policies made in both of them to almost completely deny any immigrant or even visitors at times.
