Torrin's Domain
History
After the creation of the humans, the owl spirit, Torrin, came down to the land he had given to himself. He chose the land he thought was fair to him, given he was the designer of a lot of things regarding the world. After the first couple of years allowing the humans to get used to their surroundings, he blessed them with knowledge and created his first Gifted. He planned to make this land where everyone would be treated fairly, and anyone who wanted to be successful could be, as long as they put in the work. Soon enough, he had humans spread all over the Domain, each of them pushing the boundaries of technology. Mountable tools for horses and other work animals for easier farming, fishing nets, even the first ships and carriages came from this domain. Eventually though, Siv, the Wolf decided he had had enough of the unfairness he saw in the division of lands, and attacked Torrin's domain in what was later called the Great Raid. He lost a lot of good men, women, and children, human and gifted alike to this act of war. But instead of retaliating, he just refused any further contact from Siv's Domain, gathered all the survivors of the raid and guided them to what is now Torrin's Roost, the capital of the domain. He built the city against the mountains and cliffs as a defense measure, and erected massive walls all around the city. The first wall was completed a mere 5 years after the Raid, with a second ring soon completed 15 years later. Since then, every few decades, a new ring was erected to allow for expansion. Creating a sort of division of people. Among the inner walls are the vital workers. Hospitals, Orphanages, Schools, and where most children are meant to stay. It's arguably the safest place in all of Aerith, with a good amount of guards and such, with an incredibly low crime rate. Among the middle is the biggest bulk of residential areas, as well as any form of sustainable farming. With large sections dedicated to natural sanctuaries, forestry areas, as well as crop farming. Later, the expansion reached the shore, and so came the market districts. Different markets all over the shores and the outer edges of the city, dedicated to trade with the other Domains, as well as Kyrrha's Nomads' most frequented stop. Soon enough, Torrin along with his people had built the most prosperous city to live in, and arguably also the safest.Geography
The whole domain has large stretches of rocky terrain, with mossy plains, cliffs, and even the large mountain range visible almost anywhere within the domain as well as smaller rocky formations normally called "Talons". Although near the main city are a lot of fields and even some forests, most man-made due to the trade, planting foreign trees.Culture
The Domain's inhabitants learned from almost the beginning of time to search for knowledge, being rather inventive people. With Torrin to guide them, they mostly became a city of inventors, engineers, and magic-wielders who push the boundaries of their trade. They're very well known for massively improving quality of life with their discoveries in almost every field there is, from the invention of crossbows for battle to the invention of ships and other forms of travel. Their traditional foods are often forms of bakery. Pies, cupcakes, and even some other forms of bakery like meat and veggies wrapped in dough which is later cooked, with this being a traditional food often exported to Ari and Inari's domain. The incredible advancements in medicine, and sanitation has made these people live quite a lot, some even reaching the 100 years of age. The clothing here is mostly made out of carefully woven fabrics, with usually metallic accessories like necklaces and bands, often each family having a symbol they use embedded in the accessory. Their art is rather diverse, but sculpture and other visual arts are predominant, with a lot of commissions coming from the Temple of Ari and the Cathedral of the Spirits alike. Although one of their most well known cultural attractions has to be the Festival of the Feathers. It serves as a sort of anniversary for the foundation of the city, and it consists of a few days of festivities. Among these are cook-offs, a parade where a lot of Gifted and Humans alike participate, showing off different parts of the year's defining traits, like big inventions, or even fashion trends, as well as a lot of children's attractions like a large playground that's built a few days prior to the festivities and later recycled, so every year the games to play are different. It is later recycled because it's all constructed in one of the natural sanctuaries, due to a lack of space elsewhere. Later, once everything is cleaned up, a lot of colorful flowers are planted and kept there, every year adding to the beauty of the sanctuary.Politics
Their politics are a bit overly-complicated, much like a lot of things that they do. Torrin usually works as a leader, although he does have a council of around 30 people chosen from all around the city, to ensure variety of opinions, to try and truly represent the voice of the people. These representatives all come from different areas like an important doctor, the lead engineer, the harbormaster, the keeper of the most frequented tavern, even the head of the largest orphanage. Together, they make decisions so that the largest number of people will benefit. Their diplomatic relations are positive with almost every domain, apart from Siv's, for natural reasons, with ample trade and help to everyone that may need it, since more often than not these relationships work two ways.Extra Info

Being so close together has allowed ample trade of goods and knowledge alike, especially due to the friendly and peaceful nature of the two domains.
Peace
With how close the domains are, both Yrsa and Torrin saw fit to forge good relations between their domains, trading building materials and sometimes even food. Yrsans are often seen working as defenders in Torrin's domain, as well as builders, while Torrians are usually seen in Yrsa's domain as knowledgeable crafters and teachers, granting their knowledge in exchange for their services.
Friendly
With Ari's domin as a third party for their trade they hardly ever interact directly, but due to the plentiful forests and vegetation of Inari's domain, a lot of trade that involves botanic goods is done.
Skeptical
After the creationof the Slithering Thieves, and the policies to avoid persecution within Zaragoza's Domain, Torrin's Council deemed them to be a danger, with some of the guild members ending up commiting crimes within the safe walls of the main city. Still, Zaragoza's government does intend on being friendly to Torrin's, due to the profit that can be gained with trade.
Brink of War
After the Great Raid, the relationships in between the two domains were abysmal, with policies made in both of them to almost completely deny any immigrant or even visitors at times.
