The Slithering Thieves
Summary
The Slithering Thieves is a thieves guild first founded in 356 by Dover Voidbend, a Zaragozan thief who had remarkable skill at thievery. Wishing a safe haven, believing in "Safety in numbers" he started a criminal organization to hide from the law enforcement of Zaragosa's domain, even if there was little of it. Soon enough, humans and gifted from all over Aerith came to this organization for a safe space to avoid the law.History
First founded in the year 356 by one Dover Voidbend hailing from Zaragoza's Scales, the capital city of Zaragoza's Domain, a master thief and assassin who had several hidden "temples" built underground, only accessible to those knowledgeable on the designs. They were designed to be full of traps and hazards to keep anyone but devoted criminals away. The organization remains to this day, and is the largest enemy to the Spiritual Protectors at the moment. After Dover's passing in 379, his son Aldwyn took charge, leading the organization into more large scale organized heists on different places of the world, from monasteries to banks. He was killed in one of these heists, in 392, by one of the zealots of the Spiritual Protectors, via public execution. Now over a hundred years have passed, and there is no big leader, even though the Zealots seem to think so. There are constant power struggles and even some minor factions have popped up within.
