Heritage Families

Halflings do not really take stock in nobility as such, and they have no royalty. They do, however, have some old families, called Heritage Families, that can trace their lineage as far back as the times of Haven. They take great pride in their histories, and these families engender interest and hold a place of honour, but they do not have any other powers over those of newer familial origins. Meadowspring is the founding city of the Halflings and as such they have the most Heritage Families together in one place.
