Facial scar from King Goulding, given years prior in their fight over whether Cassie should train with The Iron Blaze She also has a tattoo of the royal crest on her stomach, given to identify her in case she ever returns to Aerlyn City to claim her birthright. All members of the royal family carry them, and they are a carefully guarded secret

Mind Magic
Wields the first five Mind abilities effortlessly. Only struggles with the sixth and goes berserk whenever she attempts to use the seventh for an extended period
Apparel & Accessories
Wears form-fitting armor that provides the perfect balance of mobility and protection. She uses an iron metal band that mirrors her crown in the palace to hold her hair back in battle. Cassie also carries the black cloak of a Mind Magician
Specialized Equipment
Wields dual sabers in combat. Can use her Dimensiary power to enable the swords to cut through almost anything, but she must beware going berserk if she does this

Personal history
Cassie's young life was carefree in the palace, loved by all as their princess. However, when her father, King Goulding, discovered her magical abilities, he asked her to leave for the safety of the kingdom. Cassie refused, and her father had her kidnapped by The Iron Blaze. After this incident, she began to grow unstable in her powers as a result of the unstable condition of her mind. Black energy would flow from her hands when she would use her powers, hurting others and sending her out of control. However, Aneth Farseer taught her about the Dimension and her position as the Teacher.
She lived happily at the Blaze for some time, until she developed the Sixth ability. The other two members of the Conclave decided that Cassie would probably become like The First Brother, so they dispatched Vail Hawking, their assassin, to kill her. However, Vail was unable to kill her. She was able to knock Cassie off the wall of the Valley of the Blaze and into enemy clutches, where the Conclave assumes she was killed. Aneth knows that she is still alive, but hides this knowledge from the others because they would be afraid she had become the Brother's. After the year's Tournament, the Conclave orders Vail to kill Seth. However, Aneth does not have time to protect him, and he too is kidnapped. Aneth's only hope is that Seth might manage to rescue Cassie before the Brother can turn Seth's inexperience against him...

History
Cassie and Seth first meet through Telepathy as both are imprisoned in the Ziggurat of the Brotherhood. When they bust out together, Seth notices that Cassie is different from the girls in Tahreyn. As they care for each other and survive the swamps and deserts of Sremm together, they gradually grow closer. The greatest rift in their relationship occurs when Seth discovers Cassie's parentage and she discovers that the Conclave orchestrated her kidnapping. Seth had found out but not told her to spare her the pain of being betrayed again. She sacrifices her freedom for him after the Battle of the Boulder, as it came to be known, and Seth must either choose to flee or risk everything to free the girl he loves from The First Brother's captivity once more...
