The Student- the prophesied one who would wield all seven mind powers to defeat the First Brother Seth Jackson
The guard turned to his friend.
“Did you hear anything?”
“No. You’re probably just jumpy because the Brother got you. I was a little jumpy too at first.”
The two men peered out into the night, and, seeing nothing, returned to their game of cards.
And then the light was blocked out. A black wraith, like a ghost, floated in front of the moon.
“WALLTOP! HELP!!!” one screamed. He suddenly gagged as an arrow appeared in his throat. His buddy managed a brief yell before another one caught him in the throat.
Light as a cat, the figure landed. Guards began rushing from all over to the wall, hoping against hope to prevail. And then, as one, they fell. Each had an arrow buried in his breast. And the wraith-like figure moved on.
