The Weather Wood

An ancient massive tree guarded by creatures of Dryope. It is the cental figure of religious beliefs of Dryads, Sprites, Pixies, Halflings, and Gnomes. It's location is unknown, but there is a common belief that other weather wood trees began as sprouts from the very roots of the original Weather Wood.
The myth of its creation states Dryope dug her fingers into the soil and broke off her own arm to birth the tree. Its magical presence, as well as other weather wood trees, can accurately adapt its blooms & branches to account for impending weather and seasons, hence its name The Weather Wood.
