The Dark War

The Dark War is the 100 year long invasion of Aerois by Calus Starbane and his forces.
Aerois was first warned of Starbane by an extra-planar race called the Dragonborn. This brutal war saw the rise of several new races and technologies including the Guardians and Ember Elves.
This war ended when Calus Starbane struck a mortal blow of Siaska. With the last of her divine energies, she created The Cradle and banished most of Starbane's forces from Aerois. Seeing his mother being killed, Atellicus drove his spear into the ground and caused The Sundering.
