Calus Starbane

Calus Starbane is the legendary enemy of Aerois and is feared by the Aeroisian people. He is the one responsible for starting The Dark War, killing the head goddess Siaska and shattering the world with The Sundering. Fortunately, Siaska banished him from Aerois and erected The Cradle to prevent him from returning.
Nowadays, Starbane's name is used to scare children into doing their chores.
