The Valkyrian Empire is the extra-planar nation which is controlled by Calus Starbane. Before The Sundering, the empire was apparently vast and technologically advanced. However, nothing has been heard of the empire since Siaska created The Cradle. The Remnant are the remains of the Valkyrian Empire military which were not banished by Siaska.
