The Arachean Heart
A beating heart penetrated with bone and sigils that seems unaware or caring of its lack of body. Inside blood can be felt to course but none spurts from beyond.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
When pointed at a person, place, or object the heart will bring to your mind a brief summary of the lore about the thing you highlighted. The lore might consist of current tales, forgotten stories, or even secret lore that has never been widely known. If the thing you named isn't of legendary importance, you gain no information. The more information you already have about the thing, the more precise and detailed the information you receive is.
History
Once belonging to a tribal shaman the heart became sacred after they managed to draw the adoration of the Forgotten One. With the beings favour their tribe experienced an era of prosperity and greatness able to challenge even the expansion of the Falaran Empire. Seeing this power the Falaran Tathamite Church sent priests to convert the tribe and integrate them into civilisation. Yet the Tathamite priest learned of the favour of the the demon of the void and declared a need for purification. Upon their summoning an army of templars arrived and burned the shaman and her tribe to the ground. Believing the death of his favoured to be an injustice the Forgotten One bestowed the heart with an aspect of his power and the life force of the one that sought to court him.
Now the heart is traded by those seeking absolute truth by one whose vision pierces into the void itself.
