Uriel Valvatra

Uriel Valvatra (I-XXI) was a Teremian bard and wererat during the First Age most famed for his friendship with Raz Palatine one of the Heroes of Borlun. 
Known to many as the 'Rat King' Uriel ruled the sewers of Eivurn in his lycanthropic rat form. The rats were unaware of his true form believing him to be twenty-one consecutive monarchs with his disappearance believed to mark a passing before his successor returned. In his rule disease greatly shrunk within Eivurn with rats keeping largely to the sewers feasting on discarded foods and primitive means of self-production. Though conflict between the rats emerged his rule was largely a peaceful one. 
During her brief tenure in Eivurn Uriel became close to Raz Palatine as she learned of the rat court below. Wishing to keep her safe he sent Sir Grik and Lord Custodian Jib to protect her during the Eivurn-Solstein War disappearing from Eivurn shortly after her own departure and leaving his kingdom in the hands of several of the leading rat lineages.
