Warg

Warg, or Worg, are a sub-species of wolf. They are taller, smarter and more ferocious than their kin capable of deploying tactics to ambush larger foes. Wargs often travel in packs mixed of wolves and other warg using their group to ambush humanoids or other larger prey. 
Warg are often ridden by goblins who use amulets to charm the creatures using their great strength to make up for the goblins weaknesses. These goblins are often short lived however as their wargs quickly turn against them if the spell breaks leaving them to face the same fate as most who try to ride the deadly beasts.
