Aesalia

The planet of Aesalia is an enormous continental body in the Sol system. The significant reserves of arcanum on the planet have made it one of the most sought after destinations by extra-planar entities and has led to a grand variations within the species present on the planet.   The landmass is divided between several continents; Magarin, Liadon, Renmin, Koanga and Zakahith. Each continent is adorned by at least one great city constructed by the Draconic Imperium as seats of power across the territories.   Magarin is by far the largest of these bodies and can itself be divided into several subcontinents; Falarin to the west, The As'rai Desert across its centre, Endlewood in the east and the Ronski Wastes along its north. There are two great cities in Magarin; Rolén and The Golden City. Rolén sits in Falarin and has long been the capitol of the great empires spawned upon it. The Golden City is the largest of the great cities and the former capitol of the imperium.   Liadon is almost entirely unified though greatly restrictive with only Elves and those of such blood being granted permission to enter the island. It's great city is named Ishalond and serves as the capitol of the High Elves.   Renmin is divided into four grand kingdoms ruled by the Jade Emperor, Imūgi, Raijū, Kūbai. The capitol city is built around its mountainous centre and is named Taigol, the seat of the Emperor.   Koanga is divided among the hundreds of clans within its borders who regularly trade, battle and shift their borders as time progresses. Bakala is its great city and has long operated as a seat of power on the continent with its merchant princes acting as mediators to many clan disputes.   Zakahith is a inhospitable mountainous set of isles within which the ancient dragons originate. Those few settlements located on the continent tend to be in vast mountainous halls. The 'great city' of Zakath is named for the continent and resides as an enormous hall within the mountains centre that has significant cultural significance to the old Imperium.
