Werewolf

By far the most common lycanthropes are werewolves. Believed by many to be the original form of the virus these beasts haunt every corner of Aesalia often bringing terror and devastation in their wake. They prefer to live in packs led by a matriarch and a patriarch who attend to the needs of the group. 
Werewolves are hairier than their unaffected kin with increased muscle mass and an enhanced sense of smell and hearing. In packs they share a natural affinity and this has led to werewolves often acting as leaders or founders of wider lycan communities.
