Pommel
Pommel is the nearest town to the Hilt and functions as a stop over for traders heading towards it. Within the center of town is a large shrine to Solaris and the Swords. The town is lively, with many traders and shops, and has a very nice night life. The town also houses the Wyvern Pit, which sits upon a hill. Its officially known as Fort Rosemark, and is a small military post now used to breed and train Wyvern Riders. It sits just outside the town.
Demographics
Pommel has a wide demographic but is mostly gnomes, humans, and halflings.
Government
Pommel is run by its mayor, who is appointed by the Lord of the Walls.
Infrastructure
Pommel features a large fort known as Fort Rosemark officially and the Wyvern Pit unofficially. The fort is sizeable, but is best known for Wyvern breeding facilities and training pens. Pommel also has the Nowhere Inn, an Inn and tavern within a pocket dimension.
