The exiled towers

The frozen wasteland of Moshabar

Government

The two ruling factions representing the governments of Albeos and Celendra are led by Gileon Lemert and Jane Lemyth respectively.

Defences

A magical barrier surrounds the camp, which seems to block anyone seeking to enter the camp who does not carry a certain amulet identifying you as a member of the expedition. The barrier also allows alumni of the attached universities to pass through unscathed. The shield covering the camp looks much to practical to be of calendar design, what it lacks in elegance it makes up with efficiency and sheer scale. While brutish and enormous in size, it is surprisingly efficient being completely without the normal violent discharges typical for such a massive shield.   Past the barrier, modified versions of the alarm trap have been placed which trigger upon magical spells being cast.

Industry & Trade

Recent events have ended the isolationist policy of the leadership of the expedition, who have begun to seek closer ties with their neighbours and have established the first tentative trade agreements.

Infrastructure

The grounds are divided in three separate regions, one for each of the three towers.     The spire: A tall elegant tower which is located at the center of the camp, it dominates the surrounding area by its sheer size and the soft warm white glow of light that emanates from its surface. A powerful magical forcefield, originating from the roof of the main tower covers the rest of the camp.   Artesians Tower: this smaller tower stands at the border of the camp. While much smaller than its larger brother in the center of the camp, it is by no means less impressive. What it lacks in sheer volume and size it makes up for in elegance and simplicity.   unfinished tower: This tower is clearly the most recent addition to the expedition site, swarming over with crafters and builders, magical and mundane alike.

Guilds and Factions

The expedition was initially backed by both the celendrian government and the Albeos college of technology and magic. Later on, several traveling academics and scholars from the city states of Sha'Geah joined the effort but they remain a minority. As a result their political influence is and remains limited.

History

Originally constructed to serve as a beachhead to investigate an extensive ruined complex nearby that had been unearthed by a massive earthquake, the expedition's main task was scientific in nature. After being stuck on the wrong side of the quarantine, the expedition had no other choice but to remain in Moshabar as exiles.   Their disagreements regarding how to deal with the ruins with a group of nearby eada'atlal almost led to conflict, but this conflict has since been resolved.
