Andal Greystone: The Valravn Prince,
Half-Elf Son of Lord Greystone
Andal Greystone was the beloved son of Lord Greystone, and a beautiful Elven woman, who had captured the noble lord's heart. Growing up in the imposing Greystone Fortress, Andal was raised to be a skilled warrior and a wise leader, just like his father. His mixed heritage granted him unique abilities and insights that would prove valuable in the future.
When the demon lord Drakazar and his dark forces threatened the fortress, Andal joined the ranks of the warriors to defend his home. He fought alongside his father, Lord Greystone, and the brave defenders of Greystone Fortress , determined to protect their realm from the encroaching darkness.
In the heat of Battle of Greystone , Andal found himself face-to-face with one of Drakazar's most fearsome minions: a wraith wielding a blade infused with the demon lord's sinister power. Despite his courage and skill, Andal was struck down by the wraith's darkened blade, suffering a fatal wound that would ultimately claim his life.
As Andal lay dying on the battlefield, his Elven heritage intermingled with the dark energy that had tainted his body. Though not enough to make him immortal, his Elven blood was enough to meld the curse of the darkened blade with the only natural element he had held sacred, the Raven. This fusion, and his unwillingness to leave his body, resulted in his transformation into the very first Valravn, a being of immense power that possessed the traits of both a raven and a vampire. In this new form, Andal became a creature of the night, bound to the crypts beneath the fortress he had once called home.
After the battle, Andal searched the battlefield for his friends and unit members. He used his power over the darkened Ravens that followed him, creating new Valravn out of those he deemed to be worthy of the curse. He found solace in the company of the new Valravns he had resurrected. Together, they dwel in the crypts beneath Greystone Fortress, guarding the resting place of the greater soul shard of Drakazar, and ensuring that the demon lord's dark power would never again threaten their realm.
Among his fellow Valravn, he is the large half Elf, dark haired one with the slightly luminescent scar under his left eye, a constant reminder of his battle, and what a darkened blade can do, even in undeath.
