Greystone Fortress

High atop the jagged peaks of the continent's tallest mountain, the Greystone Fortress stood sentinel, its ramparts reaching towards the heavens. Known as the Sky Castle, this imposing structure was a symbol of strength and resilience, commanding awe and respect from all who laid eyes upon it. The fortress was the seat of power for Lord Greystone, a noble and valiant ruler who dedicated his life to defending his people from the darkness that threatened to consume the world. Within the battlements of the fortress, the greater soul shard of Drakazar lay hidden, a potent reminder of the darkness that had once threatened to consume the realm. The story of Lord Greystone and the Battle of Greystone Fortress would be remembered for generations to come, a testament to the power of love, courage, and sacrifice in the face of overwhelming darkness.   A fortress once belonging to the prestigious Greystone family. It was abandoned some time before the great war of darkness. Afterwards it was over run by Death knights, and lesser undead soldiers until being purged by the Dreadstalker, Veradis Ashvale. It was then used by the Dreadstalker order, as well as the Brotherhood of Darkness .   Deep lore:   In the age before the first sunrise, the Emberfist Dwarf clan was renowned throughout Valanthria for their unparalleled mastery over fire and metal. They could bend and shape the hardest of stones, and coax the wildest of flames to dance to their tune. It was they who built the mighty fortress of Greystone, a monument of strength and resilience, commissioned by the royal family of half-elves—the Greystones. The Emberfists constructed the fortress atop the highest peak of the Ironshard Mountain, its towers touching the clouds, its foundations delving deep into the heart of the mountain. The fortress was not merely built but crafted, each stone shaped with meticulous precision, each wall infused with the relentless strength of the mountain itself.   The most notable feature of Greystone was the Emberfist Forge, an enchanting construction at the heart of the fortress. The Emberfist dwarves magically constructed this forge, shaping it not just through their skilled hands but also their potent enchantments. The forge was said to be imbued with the spirit of flame, a fire so pure and powerful that it could mend the most grievous of cracks, refine the most impure of metals, and awaken the potential lying dormant in the most mundane of objects.   However, following the completion of the fortress, the Emberfist clan sealed the Emberfist Forge. They wove an enchantment around it so that it would slumber, its magnificent fire dormant, until a member of their clan woke it. For centuries, the Emberfist Forge waited in silent slumber.
