Session 10: Light the Way

General Summary

• After enjoying some of Whistlestick's cake, headed out to find the blacksmith's and offer up The Order of the Freeheart's services for the quest she had posted.
• in the market Gudli Hafthison shouted to Poppy Quickfootand Valen Moonshadow
• he had persuaded the guild masters to put their trust in the group and enable them to do work
• the Paymaster Master had issued work orders for completing the installation of lamps along the road in the Whispeing Woods
• Poppy Quickfootwas happy with the contract and signed everyone’s names
• Gudli gave them a cart with a crate of 6 Giant Fire Beetle and two spare lamps. Along with a stack of wanted posters for the highway men who had lead to the need for the lamps.
• only outstanding equipment is a way to get up to the lamps
• Gudli pointed out that the General Stall in the market should have some ladders.
• Once completed the group were told to collect Gudli at his Stonemasons shop and he would take them to meet the procurement master.
• Poppy approached the general stall
• Confidently persuaded Theobald The Stallkeeper that providing the group a ladder for free would be a fantastic opportunity
• Valen lit it up and Theobald then painted his logo on the side
• Headed into the woods and got on with installing the Beetles into the lanterns
• 1 had Swarm of Wasps
• 2 attracted a Giant Bat
• 3 was vandalised and needed replacing
• 4 the Giant Fire Beetle needed to be subdued to get it in the lantern
• 5 the Gregor & Tilde The Bush Bandits lay in wait
• Valen spotted the half elf in the bushes
• Poppy and whistlestick went to circle around on the hillside
• found the halfling and his Dog
• Poppy persuaded the dog to attack his master
• Gregor was rendered unconscious and the dog ran off
• Whistlestick hogtied Gregor while Poppy proceeded to sneak up on the elf.
• Valen challenged the half elf (Tilde) to come out from the bushes
• she did and set her dog on Valen.
• Poppy gave tilde a nasty injury that affected her in battle.
• between them Tilde was defeated
• Carted the two unconcious Bandits back to town
• searched their pockets and took their crossbows
• Met with Gudli
• introduced to the procurment master who wrote a new work order and receipt for capturing the Bandits.
• Collected their reward
