Morrigan, the Banished
Once she walked the FaeWyld with the utmost confidence and little cares, for she had been gifted by the Queen of Winter. Morrigan was a strange creature among the unseelie fae, and by the grace of Mab and a bit of her own power, she became the Queen of the River, a part of the FaeWyld that the living rarely see. For a time she was happy to live with the power granted her to rule over the wild unseelie fae and guide the fallen to their branch of the River's paths. When it became understood by the Queen of Winter that Morrigan no longer wished to be a subject to her will she sought to strike down the willful betrayer. The war of Ice fractured the fragile balance of the FaeWyld and while a victor was crowned, it was only in the strictest sense. Morrigan found herself banished and it is believed she has taken up residence in the Shadowfell instead. Those that choose to follow their Queen are said to have been cursed by the remaining Arch Fae, forced to live their lives in perpetual despair.
