Minotaurs are bipedal, with a humanoid torso and arms, and a bull-like head and legs. Their horns are more vertically positioned than those of a bull, and their eyes are in the front of their head rather than the side.

Minotaurs reproduce sexually and are viviparous. Their gestation period is fourteen months.
