The Fjandi

Lyskadi Asuti (a.k.a. The Fjandi)

The Fjandi is a patron of Eldritch Magic. Little is generally known of the Fjandi, save for the fact that it is supposed to bring some kind of disaster to Staerenriki. The Fjandi is one of the Eldritch patrons that is generally considered to be evil by witches and non-witches alike.
The Fjandi's most loyal followers have access to knowledge of the Fjandi's true nature: She is a vaguely humanoid being of terrifying proportions and even more terrifying magical ability. Her name is Lyskadi Asuti, and she is the creator of most of the monsters that infest the sea.
Lyskadi can be a source of great power for those who are willing to serve her. However, there are significant risks involved; Lyskadi often magically enthralls those she sees as untrustworthy, any ties to the Fjandi will likely result in death if discovered in Staerenriki, and she has some enemies among the other Eldritch patrons.

Most of the monsters infesting the sea around Aevorea were originally created by Lyskadi.

Failures & Embarrassments

Despite creating a multitude of new creatures, Lyskadi has failed to create many that can survive on land for extended periods, which has stymied her plans thus far. Most of those that could were made from Tritons, which are in short supply in the seas around Aevorea.

Motivation

Lyskadi hates Staerenriki and Svarts, for reasons known only to herself. Much of her time is spent in the creation of various monsters, the best of which she uses to build an army. The others are simply set loose.
