Vethys (Veh-this)

When one makes a promise or an oath, Vethys is there to watch and record it. When a lie is told, Vethys watches with glee. She is a deity of manipulation, and revels in the game of diplomacy and tyranny. Her victories are not gained through forceful tactics but rather, by the losers willingly surrendering. And though she is a deity of deception, promises go beyond lies and are sacred to her. Should someone break a promise they make, the consequence is her undying animosity towards them. The worse the promise broken was, the worse the punishment will be. Vethys is the recorder of promises and deceit, and at the end of every record etched, she gets her due.
