First house of Gray Kingdom
The Gray is a lack of Color. Normally, it destroys the properties of anything it affects and in a short time, makes anything crumble to dust. There is an area, formerly known as The Kingdom of Fimra that is now called a Gray Kingdom, because one day, for an unknown reason, all Colors disappeared from it, killing all living beings within it. However, some people affected by Fading called Grays decided to move there, once their natural call to kill Witchkiller beasts got weaker with the lowered numbers of said beasts. Knowing the properties of Gray and their own bodies on all other things, the few of them built a shelter for a night. It was a simple shelter that was supposed to be there for a short time before it fell apart.
But the time passed, and it still stood. And more time passed, and not even a sign of it turning to dust appeared. From then, the Grays learned that if they build something in the Gray Kingdom, using materials without any Colors, these structures will stand there like normal buildings built anywhere else in Urnketh. And so they left the first structure they built as a reminder that they now have a place where they can finally stay, not chased away by the unkind eyes or the destruction they spread by just staying in one place.
