Ba'al Verzi
The most notorious criminal organization in the Imperium, the Ba'al Verzi boasts of cells in all major cities, and nearly every town. They are a constant thorn in the side of the Imperial Templar, always one step ahead of the rule of Law.
Despite its high profile, the Ba'al Verzi is not an easy organization to find or to join. Invitation only, the Verzi seek out those whom they wish to join their ranks; and if a Verzi agent approaches with an offer, the answer is never no. The Ba'al Verzi tolerate no competition in their territory and no sane criminal would contend with both the Templar and the Ba'al Verzi.
Members of the Ba'al Verzi come from all trades and walks of life. Members are often rogues of various subclasses, especially assassins, masterminds, and thieves. But many other classes grace their ranks as well, especially illicit users of forbidden magic.
