Branner Juddsen
King Branner Krigg Juddsen, First of his name
Branner was the youngest child of the Eldessar King, Dravan the Second's younger sister. Born within a year his the King's twin sons, Branner was raised alongside Kregg and Rudrick and the monarch grew quite fond of his nephew.
King Dravan turned to his favorite nephew when it came to naming his successor because he feared his own sons' rivalry and shortcomings made them unfit. The move backfired, causing a split of the kingdom and the eventual war for the throne, the War of the Eldess. The length and toll of the war, which included Kregg's life, eventually brought about an end to the conflict. The cousins agreed to a tenuous peace with Rudrick ruling in the East and Branner in the West.
Following the war, Branner declared the western kingdom would be renamed, symbolizing its complete split from the past. He would spend the rest of his days as the first King of Elysia. His rule and that of the dynasty that followed him lasted for over four centuries and was represented by a tremendous growth in the kingdoms wealth and economy.
