Lupold Patteress
Lord Lupold Elric Patteress
Lupold was the first person to hold the title "Lord Patteress". He was a childhood friend of Branner Eldessyr, the first Earl of the Moon and favored nephew of King Dravan the Second of Eldessar. When the King eschewed his own sons for the nephew in the line of succession to the throne, Branner knew he'd need his friends close to him for what was likely to come.
Lupold remained loyal to his friend throughout the difficult years of the schism and the conflict that ultimately followed, the Eldess War. The beleagured monarch rewarded this loyalty by elevating Lupold's family to the nobility. When peace was finally settled, the kingdom was sundered in two but Huus Patteress remained, devoted to the new kingdom of Elysia and it's first monarch, King Branner the First. One of the new king's first acts was to reward his friend with a prodigious grant of land and wealth, making Huus Patteress the first noble house of post-war Elysia.
