Emrisa
Demographics
Emrisa is built and modeled after the capital city, Sifeld. It mirrors the city in almost every way, except for its size. Just like Sifeld, Emrisa is sectioned off into many different wards. The wards range from housing to science to trade. Each ward has its own purpose, fulfilling the needs of the city. The only ward within the city that has sub-sections is the housing ward. The housing ward is divided into three sections based on the income of the families that live there. The city grades income on entire families, not just individuals. This means housing is also given to large families, not just a single person. Often, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, spouses, and children all live in homes together. The nobility and dragonkin here live within the Maetrine Palace. The largest difference between Sifeld and Emrisa is that Emrisa is actually built upon one of the few areas of fertile land inside the wastes. Due to this, there is an incredibly large farming population that exists near the city. Farmers do not live inside the city but are given homes and fields on the outskirts of the city based on their skills and abilities.
Government
Unlike the other cities within the waste, the Chronos Assembly does not have a strong presence in Emrisa. A small group does reside here, but Prince Ali rules over the majority of issues within the city. Prince Ali is one of Torrea's longest-standing friends. He comes from a noble family that has assisted Torrea greatly throughout the years. When her father passed, Ali and his family stood by Torrea and helped her family retain the majority of control over the waste. Due to this act, Ali and his family were awarded the right to rule over Emrisa. Creating trust between the two families. Prince Ali has a small circle of advisors that assist him in ruling. Consisting of two members of his family, his uncle and younger sister, alongside two members from Torrea's family.
Defences
Just like in Solaris and Sifeld, magical pillars have been created that, once activated, form a protective barrier around the city. However, this is the weakest barrier of the three cities.
Industry & Trade
Emrisa doesn't do a massive amount of trading. Since the majority of what they produce is food, beverages, and livestock, they tend to distribute it throughout the country and are paid in return for the service with anything from gold to other various resources, such as metals.
Infrastructure
Unlike Sifeld, which has a tendency to create inventions that will help spring the country forward on a grander scale, Emrisa tends to lean towards inventions that will help in day-to-day life and basic needs. A plethora of farming, fishing, and livestock-raising tools, items, and strategies have been created in Emrisa. Believing that if the citizens of Emrisa take care of their basic needs, Sifeld will be able to hone its greatest minds towards the grander scale of technology.
Assets
While many inventions have been created within the city of Emrisa, the most valuable asset the city has is the vast amount of food and water that is distributed to the rest of the country.
Guilds and Factions
A large sect of the Agricultural Guild exists within the city. Laborers Guild: A guild dedicated to the fair treatment of farmers and other low-skill manual laborers. Performer's Guild: A training ground for those who wish to learn the art of performance—dancing, music, theater, etc. Culinary Guild
History
Created on the most fertile land in all the wastes, Emrisa quickly became a means to feed all the citizens inside the arid wastes. As time has gone by and more and more low-skilled laborers live within the city, the amount of available food has gone up and up throughout the years. Not only has the number of laborers increased, but so has the technology used to assist in the day-to-day tasks of these workers. As this natural profession has taken place, Emrisa has slowly had more and more time to devote to the culinary arts. Not only does the city feed the majority of the country, they are also home to some of the most exquisite food and beverages across Agodale, drawing in many tourists.
Tourism
Many tourists who come here are either here to see some of the agricultural advances the city has made or to try some of the exotic, masterfully created food the city has to offer.
Architecture
Similar to Islamic architecture. Examples of this are minarets, muqarnas, arabesque, Islamic geometric pattern, pointed arch, multifoil arch, onion dome, and pointed domes.
Geography
Built upon the most fertile lands available in the wastes. The mountains east of Emrisa have deep cave systems that are underground, and some of those have natural water wells that run underneath Emrisa, giving it the fertile soil it needs to successfully cultivate farmlands.
Natural Resources
The closest natural resources to the city are a few various metals found within the mountains to the east.
