Cuspin Gourd
It was dedicated to Sesquinimmow de Cubits.
The gourd contains dozens of prisoners, all strange creatures only seen in Carrithel, usually called "spirits" in popular literature. As the story goes, these spirits captured the adventurers of Marcia's Miscellany when they passed through their territory, and Marcia was forced to defeat them through cleverness rather than brute strength. To trade for the freedom of her friends, Marcia offered the Cuspin Gourd to the creatures' boss, and tricked him into getting trapped inside. The other creatures started to panic, but Marcia assured them that they could save their boss if they jumped in after him. With the help of Curtius' magic, more than half of the creatures were tricked into trapping themselves in the gourd, and the rest were defeated easily.
Like the other prisoners, the people in the gourd have long overstayed their sentence. When people started asking why, the full story started to come out. The characters who captured the Miscellany used to be described as kidnappers, but they were actually within their rights: they were detaining Marcia's crew for apparently breaking some local laws. Then Marcia used the gourd to kidnap their leader, and a fight broke out. Once this story came to light, Marcia's Miscellany was banned from ever working in Carrithel; their adventures had been over for years by this point, but it was more of a symbolic gesture.
Before the prisoners could be freed, the diorama traded hands, and the Cubit Gourd had become the Cuspin Gourd. The new owner doesn't care to rescue them, so for now, they're stuck where they are.
Developments - Act I
Developments - Act II
Bullidas Cuspin may lend the gourd to people who request his services. It serves as an effective trap weapon: soldiers or monsters are sent inside the gourd, where they wait in the vestibule until summoned. A person bearing the gourd may appear to be alone, only to reveal a cache of reinforcements.
After frequent use by Bullidas Cuspin and Mox, the entrance of the gourd has been converted to a luxurious break room, where signets train and vacation as they wait for the next fight.
The gourd is destroyed. Anyone who wants to access the demiplane will have to consult with Sesquinimmow in person.
