Ecology and Habitats

Stone giants prefer temperate mountain ranges as their habitat.
The giants are powerful enough to survive and make a living in the Underdark in the face of competition. They have a tendency to gather in larger individual groups the deeper the given group is located, but are primarily denizens of the Upperdark, though even there their number isn't large.
They carve their homes out of the rock and has a reputation as good artisans, though they generally maintain an uncaring stance towards other denizens of the Underdark and expected the same stance from the others.

Stone giants have an excellent sense of smell and has infravision to help them see in the dark.

Their own dialect of Giant is called Jotunstein. Most lean a second language to talk to those around them, such as Common or Undercommon.
