Imrael the Fallen

Imrael the Fallen, Commander of the Bloodwing, Chatelaine of the Bladed Circle, Taker of Swords, First Captain of the Nine Hells
The fallen Celestial Imrael, once a servant of good and light, was the leader of an angelic host that became mired in the Deep War after millennia battling the spawn of The Abyss. Worn down and consumed by the desire for battle, Imrael and her followers revelled in the slaughter of Demons and Devils alike. They were dispatched to destroy the Archdevil Maladrax the Bloodwing, General of the Indomitable Pallisade, but when demons assailed the Pallisade in the confusion the celestials and devils joined forces to repel them.
In the aftermath of the battle, Imrael and her surviving warriors were persuaded to join the forces of the Nine Hells in defence of order and the Pillar Relentless. Imrael made a new defensive ring from the bladed feathers of Maladrax and the blades of her slaughtered foes, and so became the Chatelaine of the Bladed Circle, and was appointed the First Captain of the Nine Hells. She renamed her cohort the Bloodwing, arming each with one of Maladrax's pinfeathers, and herself swore fealty always and only to Ultima the Peerless. As a mark of favour, she carries the infernal sword Daesh, taken from her fallen predecessor.
Since then, she has been at the forefront of the Deep War, leading the infernal forces in battle. More recently, she is said to have become less active on the front lines, and more enmeshed in the politics of Hell.
Imrael's form is still angelic in the main, but her celestial beauty is marred by the rage and bloodlust that twist her face. Her flesh and feathers are charred by the halo of flame that burns about her brow, her once-bright armour is blackened and melted to her skin, and her wings and hands drip blood in a constant trickle.
