At first they believe another Spellplague is on the horizon due to Mystra's inactivity of late however their Mage's conclude that the interference is from the North, not the outer planes.   Nilanalume the Elven capitol city is longstanding as well as 5 primary towns within the Dominion of Light: Alyfethas, Effadorei, E'Vethemar, Ksthalas & Nythnlona.
