Atlas Alavor
Atlas is a half-elf from Elm, a small town in Eumoya, in the Elmris Basin. His mother was a prostitute and a dancer, making a fair amount of coin and keeping the two of them comfortable. She died in a fight, one of her clients fought with a tavernkeeper and she died in the crossfire. Atlas was only twelve at the time.
Atlas took what money was left and traveled west to Sezani, first working as a courier, then within the Merchant Aeriners Guild and growing a merchant business: The East Alavor Trading Company. Over the last twenty years, he's built up his name and reputation as a man who is strict with his accounts, and sharp in his deals when need be, but overall a friendly enough businessman.
The Merchant Mogul
Atlas Alavor is a figure of quiet sophistication, moving through the bustling world of trade with an air of composed authority. His black hair, soft and long over his shoulders, frames a face marked by grey eyes that carry a shrewd glint. A sharp jaw, smooth chin, and arching eyebrows, add an element of charm to his refined appearance. Always impeccably dressed, Atlas dons attire that seamlessly combines style and practicality, reflecting his keen understanding of both the intricacies of fashion and the demands of the business world. His wardrobe, a curated selection of fine fabrics and tailored garments, speaks to a man who appreciates the artistry of presentation. Despite his elevated status, Atlas carries himself in a deceptively casual manner. There's an ease in his movements, a confidence that belies the complexities of the deals and negotiations he orchestrates. His gestures, measured and purposeful, reveal a man accustomed to navigating the intricate dance of commerce with finesse. To those who encounter him in the bustling markets or opulent halls of Sezani, Atlas Alavor appears as a paragon of success, a merchant mogul whose influence extends far beyond the East Alavor Trading Company.Roundview Estate
The beautiful manor house is a spacious and elegant residence located in the affluent Cherry Blossom Lane, where the upper echelons of society reside. The home itself is designed with an eye for both luxury and subtlety, with each element chosen to impress without drawing too much attention to itself. As you make your way down Cherry Blossom Lane, the air is filled with the delicate fragrance of the blooming trees that line the quiet street. Nestled between a small corner park with a spring and the stately residences is the imposing figure of Roundview Estate. Its angular, square towers rise against the sky, giving the home an almost fortress-like appearance. The stone façade is a blend of pale, sun-warmed hues, reminiscent of Mediterranean architecture, which is the ancient architecture of this city, but with the clean lines and grand proportions of Renaissance design, which is a bit more modern for Sezani. It's severity is softened by the ivy curling along the corners and edges of the balconies and windows. At the heart of the estate, a massive round window on the second floor catches your eye, its smooth curve a stark contrast to the sharp edges of the towers and walls around it. The framework is round, paneled in a circular pattern and currently shining with solar glare. A stone porch wraps around the front of the window, offering a quiet space to enjoy the sea breeze on fair-weather days, and feel above the city. A grand, curved staircase carves through a lush garden and leads up to an imposing set of double doors, polished wood gleaming in the soft morning light. Above the entrance, intricate ironwork decorates a balcony, while slender windows hint at the many rooms and levels hidden within the estate. The home’s elegance is unmistakable, but it carries an air of restraint—just opulent enough to befit the wealthiest merchant, yet carefully curated to suit the understated taste of its owner. Walking further, you ascend a curved marble staircase, its balustrade simple yet elegant. The faint sound of footsteps echoes through the house, adding to the atmosphere of calm. On the second floor, a grand arched doorway leads you to the heart of the estate: the sitting room.

The Roundview Estate
As you step through the grand double doors, the cool air of the interior washes over you, a stark contrast to the warmth of the street outside. The entrance hall is vast and open, the high ceiling emphasizing the sense of space. Pale, smooth white walls stretch upward, broken only by the occasional tapestry or ornate sconce. The floors, too, are made of pristine white stone, accented with lapiz tiles, reflecting the soft natural light filtering in from the many tall windows. Despite the minimalism, the few decorations that do line the walls are chosen with precision. Artifacts from distant lands and tapestries bearing intricate patterns from across the continent provide flashes of color against the white, their stories untold but clearly valuable in their craftsmanship. A delicate vase from a far-off region sits upon a stone pedestal, its surface marked by exotic symbols, while a richly embroidered rug from the Eastern Isles lies underfoot, its deep blue and gold hues grounding the starkness of the white stone. The architecture has an effortless blend of Mediterranean openness and Renaissance Tudor flair, with arches framing doorways and high-beamed ceilings. The interior feels spacious, yet purposeful. Every artifact, every rug or tapestry, feels as though it has been placed deliberately to draw the eye and balance the room, yet nothing is overwhelming or garish. As a master of trade, Atlas’s curated selections hint at wealth, but not excess. Walking further, you ascend a curved marble staircase, its balustrade simple yet elegant. The faint sound of footsteps echoes through the house, adding to the atmosphere of calm. On the second floor, a grand arched doorway leads you to the heart of the estate: the sitting room.
