Leif Stormscale
Lief Stormscale is a blue Dragonborn Paladin with an acolyte background. Born into an evil and tyrannical family, his father was a champion of the games and earned a position in The Shade for it. Lief's upbringing was cruel, being raised to follow in his father's footsteps, a regular participant in the games. However, he rebelled against his family's malevolence and found solace in the teachings of a benevolent deity and religious order.
As an acolyte, Lief dedicated himself to the service of his chosen deity, Bahamut. He immersed himself in the Church's teachings, rituals, and practices, seeking guidance and redemption. Through his faith, Lief discovered a path of light and righteousness, vowing to use his newfound power as a Paladin to counteract the misdeeds of his family and bring hope to the world.
Lief's alignment as lawful good reflects his unwavering commitment to upholding the principles and values of his chosen faith. His sweet and kind-hearted nature shines through his actions, even as he confronts the dangerous legacy of his family.
Driven by a desire to prove that one's actions are not dictated solely by one's lineage, Lief endeavors to protect the innocent, fight against injustice, and offer compassion to those in need. His ultimate goal is to redeem himself and restore honor not only to his Dragonborn lineage but also to the name of his chosen deity or religious order.
While Lief retains his affinity for lightning and electricity, inherited from his blue dragon heritage, his connection to his faith may have shaped his understanding and usage of these powers. This unique blend of draconic energy and divine influence allows him to manifest his devotion in extraordinary ways, bolstering his abilities
After earning his position with the Church of Bahamut, Lief found himself in a position where his new life of righteousness converged with his old life of violence for sport, when a young gnome was being forced into the colosseum, knowing what he had to do Leif spoke up to take the gnome's place and fight.
