Tallzar Halep

Being born a 'half-blood', as the drow would so eloquently put it, Tallzar found it difficult among her people, being given no privilege, despite being born a woman in a matriarchal society. Some could get away with their heritage if their parentage was kept a secret, but the startling, glowing eyes of Tallzar give away her aasimar heritage. Luckily for her, the miltary of Avalencia always needs more soldiers, in order to battle the many horrors that lurk in the depths of the Underdark. Here, she found some purpose, comradery and meaning, being glad to do something far more honorable than having to work as a harlot in the Hazy Amethyst.

Personal history

A Child of the Amethyst 

Tallzar's mother was a harlot, a 'half-blood', being half drow and half aasimar. Her startling, glowing eyes made her quite popular among the men that come by, and she eventually fell pregnant, giving birth to Tallzar, who inherited her eyes. There was no mistaking who Tallzar's mother was, nor was there any mistaking the blood than ran through her veins, making her childhood a difficult one. Tallzar's mother would pass soon after, leaving her alone, yearning for some kind of actual bond, rather than the constant cold glares that she received from strangers. There was but one path for her, at least in her mind. To become a soldier of Avalencia.

A Faceless Soldier

She would find herself under the command of the young knight, Valdyn Kenviir, whose modern views allowed him to overlook her parentage and accept her into his squadron. Knowing this, Valdyn then asked for her to be under his regiment when he was promoted to city guard, a position she gladly took. Now, wearing the full garb of an Avalencia guard, none question her blood, given how she can hide within the armor she is clad in, protecting the city in teh hopes that, as time goes by, more will think like her commanding officer and accept her as a citizen of the drow.
