The Treaty of Spring's Blaze

The Treaty of Spring's Blaze, also known as the Unity of the Twenty Fey Monarchs, is a treaty signed by all the rulers of the twenty remaining city states of the Eladrin that exist in the plane of the Feywild. The treaty followed the several century war between all the city stats of the Feywild, as each blamed the other for the disappearance of their patron Goddess, Nimue, the First of the Fey during The Divine Exodus. In reality, this was more of a collective political maneuver, as Nimue would often keep the Eladrin from fighting, whether through kindness or force. Without their patron Goddess, the Fey monarchs all sought to expand each of their territories. Given the chaotic and lively state of the Feywild, it would be difficult to control land outside of the city states, so they sought to rule other states as their vassals.    This war would last from the start of The Divine Exodus to 341ADE, being the bloodiest in the Feywild's history. It only ended after Renna Fellon, archmage of Ellhesari decided to raze a neighbouring city state with her immense, arcane power. Renna had stolen the body of the archfey, Lyntel, making her a super power in the Feywild; however, she never fought in the war, knowing that she would need to take countless lives in one fell swoop in order to stop it. She only committed this act after the death of her husband, the Lord Commander of the Ellhesari Royal Guard at the time, during an attempted assassination of the King of Ellhesari. In her rage, she burned the neighbouring city state of Indellon to the ground, allegedly raining fire so heavy that every building was turned to ash by the morning, leaving none alive.   After witnessing such a tragedy, the other nineteen city states sued for peace with Ellhesari. The agreement was that the monarchs of the other city states would bend the knee to the ruler of Ellhesari, making him the first King of the Feywild. They would become liege lords and ladies, rather than Kings and Queens, with the condition of peace being that Renna would never again leave the boundaries of Ellhesari. This agreement was written officially and named the Treaty of Spring's Blaze, given the burning of the city that ended the war at the hands of a spring archfey.

Purpose

The Treaty ended the war of the monarchs of the Feywild, uniting all Eladrin under the now ruling of House of Glyn, the royal family of Ellhesari.
