Qinun Vildosos

Qinun was the oldest and most experienced Hexer at Tirafel in the post-war century and acted as a father figure to many Hexers. Like many of the other Hexers, he spent each winter in the fortress and set out on the path when spring arrived.   He was one of the few members of the School of Hex to survive the assault on the fortress. By the War of Illitos he was the sole old Hexers remaining; however, as he was only a blade and magic instructor, he didn't possess the knowledge necessary to create new mutagens in order to mutate more disciples into Hexers.   He is also regarded as one of the finest swordsmen in Akeroth and was called upon by many to mentor a new generation of soldiers. He spent some time in Mesym helping the Midnight Court train new apprentices in the art of blade singing before heading back to his other students in Tirafel.   No one knows where he hailed from, some say he appeared one day and just showed his strength but his skill is unparalleled and is a worthy foe to any who seek to do harm within Akeroth.

Personal history

Considered among the oldest hexers remaining, Qinan was born early enough to witness the construction of the fortress. His mentor and tutor was Darian.   In the second half of the last century, the fortress was attacked by an enraged mob led by group of mages and priests. Qinan survived, either not present in the keep during the pogrom or mistaken as dead by the mob as he lay unconscious among the corpses of his fellows. While the pogrom was condemned, the school never regained its full functionality.   After several years of taking small jobs he regained the stability of the school and made it one of the best places to find someone to hunt monsters. Unrivalled in their knowledge the school aims to hunt monsters, now for a hefty price.
