Chista
Goddess of wisdom and knowledge, she guides mortals both in the right way in life and toward their correct afterlife.
Her devotees were active before The Quieting Both Parsans and the Sultanese are said to have worshipped her and she guided her followers in studies. Her temples are said to have been the greatest libraries and universities to have ever existed.
Her followers were said to exhibit great humility, and those who recall them, describe them as having bowed to all other in public, often dealing in a public display with head low and hands stretched above, holding a lantern and offering to guide the way to knowledge and wisdom.
Unfortunately, in this current time of regrowth after devastation, few remember Chista or her followers. Illiteracy is rampant and few libraries are even known to exist any longer. What scrolls remain from the times before are precious indeed.
