The Brass Saber Syndicate

The leading criminal organization with lots of power in Earthhold. Led by a ruthless bugbear named Briggin, the Brass Saber Syndicate has many facets of gaining power in the city and are constantly obfuscating the law.
There are 3 main officers underneath Briggin who handle different aspects of the syndicate. The Quest Master, The Torturer, and The Negotiator.

History

The Brass Saber Syndicate starts with the legend of The Hunter. They are a somewhat well-known warrior who lived about 100 or so years ago and was both a criminal and a hero to Earthhold. The legend of the Hunter basically goes that they were born to an honorable family of warriors and he became a knight and did many great things before the part of their story where they made a deal with a demon to protect their loved one. He was given much power and influence among the people but their morals were changed and they became tainted by the deal. They founded a criminal syndicate and were responsible for lots of illegal shit. The story goes though that he was redeemed by an angel and became a paladin finding his way back to the light. Many people know of the tale because it shows that those who fall from grace can always come back and those who do will be stronger because of it.
