Eldon was once a member of The Steel Brotherhood. During this time, he was hired by many merchants to help safeguard ocean travel between city's like Wesdale, Newport and Easthaven. He experienced many close calls from attacks by sea monsters and pirates alike in his time with the guild, this lead him to start perusing a career as a so-called 'Priest of the Sea'. In the years that followed, his unusual title and seafaring experience, lead to him gaining notoriety and, when it came time to retired from mercenary work, he settled in Wesdale and became the local priest at the Oceanbreeze Sanctum.
