Personal history

Lorelei never felt like she fit in during her formative years. People's expectations of her as a teenager and young adult, of going to taverns, getting drunk and getting into crazy situations, were never what she wanted. She always found comfort in literature, digesting vast numbers of nonfiction books and becoming known as a fountain of information by her twenties. This deep interest in knowledge lead her quite naturally to The Knowing Mistress, who she found safety with when not meeting the expectation of those aroudn her. When eventually became time to find work, she became an acolyte for the former priest of Ioun, Willow Wiseacre, eventually replacing her when she retired.
Lorelei comes across as this confident chararter which some feeling intimidated to approach. However, people quickly discover how introverted she can be. When discussing a topic she has read about, her typical shyness fades and she becoems more animated. This is until she reasilses and sinks back into herself.
