Personal history

Ulgar comes from a long line of carpenters originally from Newport. His family developed a special method for efficiently removing the sap from trees ahead of felling them to help with the logging process. He was the first member of his family to wonder if the sap could be used for other things. When he discovered maple tree sap could be used in cooking, he made a drastic career change, moving to Caer Carden and opening an inn with a focus on this culinary discovery. These days, the use of maple sap in food is used elsewhere, however Ulfgar is coined as being the first in Concordia to do this commercially.
Ulfgar is a kind, jolly man who speaks with an unusual acent (canadian). He is always looking to expand his knowledge of what maple sap can by paired with, and has been known topay adventurers to hunt unusual creature on his behalf forhim to experiment with.
