Alixente Device (Al-iss-aunt Deh-vice)
Phiala Idoia Alixente Alluvium- Device (a.k.a. Phialixente, Alison)
The middlemost daughter of Princess Castalia of House Alluvium and Mortelle Lord Agathangelis Device, magical preternaturalist Alixente would go on to become a noted astronomer in Animist academic circles, her work being published several times in publications attributed to both the Memoriam Inanimatam and The Reminiscentia. Due to her inter-dimensional heritage Alixente was one of a large number of young scholars selected for a surveying expedition to Mortelle during the Anima-Mortelle Wars and while the expedition was a success in its early days, it would come to end tragically: Alixente, called "Alison" in the Mortelle tongue, being put to the stake and burned for crimes of 'witchcraft' after she failed to drown in a similar trial. Subsequent to news of her death she was also raised to the status of Phiala, the highest religious honor that can be bestowed in Anima.
Alixente's sacrifice is remembered today during the high holy season of Alamort, with poppets of her often being crafted as offerings to Cridhe Loch Fae.
