Grappling Attack

Unarmed Attack, Grab, Wrestling

One type of Unarmed Attack is a grapple. The attacker is trying to wrestle their opponent into submission.

When a Grapple Attack is made, the victim has a few choices:

  1. If they have a weapon, they may make an attack of opportunity immediatly (like an Unarmed Attack)
  2. If they are unarmed, they make an opposed attack roll. Whoever beats the best Armor Class wins the contest. Ties are a win for the victim.

If the attacker is successful, they may then opt for a Hold Attack, Special Moves (as per their martial art), or release the victim. The number of attacks required is based on the action taken. Each grappling/hold/lock/special move requires 1 attack action.
