Venari  Hall of Nature at the College for Adventurers on Minos Point is a serene and earthy structure dedicated to the study of the natural world, named after Venari, the god of nature and the hunt. While modest in size compared to other buildings on campus, Venari Hall plays a crucial role in educating students about the ecosystems, flora, and fauna they will encounter in their adventures.
The hall itself consists of a few cozy, wooden classrooms with large windows that offer views of the surrounding greenery and the distant mountains. These classrooms are designed to blend harmoniously with nature, with natural light filtering in and vines occasionally creeping in through the open windows. The décor is simple and organic, with tables made from reclaimed wood, shelves filled with botanical texts, and displays of plants, herbs, and animal specimens for study. The atmosphere inside is peaceful, a reflection of the subjects taught there, such as herbalism, animal handling, and survival in the wild.
Behind the main hall are two large, magical greenhouses, the heart of Venari Hall. These greenhouses are filled with a vast array of plant life, from common herbs to rare and exotic species, both magical and mundane. Students are encouraged to cultivate, study, and care for these plants as part of their training. The greenhouses also house sections dedicated to specific biomes, allowing students to experience different environmental conditions—from humid jungles to dry deserts—while staying within the safety of the campus. The greenhouses are used to teach students about the delicate balance of ecosystems, medicinal plants, and how to use nature to their advantage while exploring dangerous environments.
Venari Hall is a quiet, contemplative place, ideal for those students who have an affinity for the wild and the natural world. Whether preparing to track creatures in the wilderness or learning to brew potions from harvested herbs, students in Venari Hall gain a deep respect and understanding of nature’s power and resources, skills that will serve them well in their journeys beyond Minos Point.
