The Battle of Peper Lake was fought between the gathered Lakorth army against rebel Vervigon. The battle took place on the shores of Peper Lake in the northwest of Novyum and saw a desisive victory for the Vervigon against the Lakortha. Modern historians consider this battle the beginning of the fall of the reign of Lakorth. With contemporary written of the day claiming an entire generation of Lakorth's finest men were wiped from Aldern in a single day.
