the Power of Two

The Cult of Two is a religious order that originated in the prehistoric period out of the Cult of the Wyrm. Though it began as dragon worshippers, revering Muonlar and Canonlin, through the ages it has become a cult of philosophy with two as the sacred number of the universe. The "Power of Two,” two dragons, two moons, two suns, two eyes, etc.

While a tiny cult through most of history, the modern religious order blossomed in the last century with the decline of the United Kingdoms of Novyum and people looking for an alternative to the centralized authority of the Church, and its favoritism for the nobility and wealthy. Today the Cult of Two has temples in most large cities across Novyum and is popular with the fringe of society.
