Dark Elvish

Drowic

The language of the Juhl'are. Isolation from the other Elf has developed a distinct language for the dark elves of the Night Below. The drow language is said to have its roots in the most ancient and long lost elvish language of Borgai, though no one, not even the oldest drow are ancient enough to remember how the original language sounded. Drowic is a strange mix of very harsh loud consonants, with harmonic pronunciations of vowels, in almost whispered tones.

It should be noted that this is a noble language among the drow. Drowic is spoken by the great families of the society while the lesser drow and commoners speak Khavit (Undercommon) in their daily lives.
