Lake Lipit

Lost Lake

Lake Lipit was an ancient lake of Novyum on the major continent of Ethae. Oral traditions claim it was a turquoise blue lake feed by the northern glaciers during the Randagri Period as the early Dumid people spread across the land. The Dumid tribes used the lake as a landmark dividing the western lands from the eastern. When the glaciers melted at the end of the Randagri, the lake, like the Larsnu Plains east of it vanished under the sea.

Modern scholars believe this rising sea that swallowed the lake to be the Aabanu Sea. The deep western waters of that see being the possible location of the lake, if it existed at all.
